Franky Devos is general coordinator of Vooruit Ghent (Belgium). Vooruit is one of the seven Flemish art institutions. 350,000 visitors pass through Vooruits doors each year for performance art, music, literature, theatre, debate, nightlife and so much more. Previously, he was general director of BUDA arts center in Kortrijk and co-initiator of the annual international arts festival NEXT in the border region of Flanders-Wallonia-Northern France. He worked for the Flemish Culture House De Brakke Grond in Amsterdam and Cultuurnet Vlaanderen for which he published on cultural participation among youngsters and children.
